I moved on a day in heavy snow. Needless to say I was concerned that the truck rental place would be even be open, let alone let me take the truck out. The guy was there on time, the truck was in great condition and clean, and with new snow tires. I felt very safe, despite having never driven a truck that size, and in the snow nonetheless. Overall it was a great experience. I would definitely recommend this company to others. FYI, BCAA members get 10% off the rental as well.

They came and quoted on my move. They guaranteed my rates. The movers actually knew what they were doing. They blanket wrapped all of my furniture before they moved it. Nothing was broken. Just one minor chip of paint off my door. But I was moving out of the building anyways…Price was within 5% of the estimate. Would use again.

I needed to move to the island. The Penske people were friendly and helpful. My quote was accurate with no hidden charges at the end. Milage (approx 39 cents/km) and daily rental fee ($44/day) with BCAA card. There equipment was safe and in better shape than most other truck rental companies. It was cheaper to rent a truck from North Vancouver Penske drive it to and from Vancouver Island via Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay and return it to North Vancouver….than it was to use Budget or Uhaul one way (Budget quoted over $450 (275kms incl), plus ferry ($145) , plus insurance ($15-30), plus fuel and pad rental and hidden fees. Estimated total cost over $700 one way. Cost of move with Penske was…including van rental (15ft diesel cube with hydraulic lift) $80, ferries $290 (with 2 people), fuel $45 diesel, insurance $60, environmental fees $3, milage (250kms- $95) and about ten furniture pads rental for $10. TOTAL COST about $610… cheaper than Budget or Uhaul one way. Hats off and thanks to the North Vancouver Penske office for helping make a hard move a little easier.

The crew was punctual, very professional and patient. My friend was there to oversee the day, and she even commented on how the guys took minimal breaks. Just a quick note to thank Ferguson Moving for an outstanding job on Saturday. John and Michael were great guys. They were efficient, good humoured and worked their a**es off.
When they learned that the instructions they were given were a bit off (one small move and one large move – not two small moves) they just switched gears, let us know we were their priority and plowed into it. They kept utmost care of our possessions and didn’t make even the smallest damaging mark in either our old place or the new one despite a nightmarish narrow staircase and soft walls.
The move was extremely professional and for all intents and purposes, flawless.
I will not hesitate to recommend Ferguson Moving to anyone and please feel free to post any of this comment to your benefit.

Hello Juville,

Many thanks for the donation of the packing paper to the West Vancouver United Church flea market.  We usually save tissue and packing paper over the year for use to wrap the china.  Somehow, this year, we had hardly any so we were very grateful for the donation.  This is a money-raising affair for good use in the community and manned by a hundred or so volunteers.  Please pass this on to your manager and co-workers.  We look forward to a good move with Ferguson’s.
