| STEP 1: PLANNING IN ADVANCE One of Ferguson Moving & Storage’s trained and experienced commercial moving consultants will begin pre-planning to assist and strategize the most comprehensive moving lists for our customers. In addition, our crew supervisors will schedule a walk through with your companies facilitator, with reporting and attention to details of your specific needs.STEP 2: MATERIAL DELIVERY Before your movers begins, all required equipment such as inventory tags and cartons (including custom containers and carts for computers/ company servers, files, electronics, mirrors and artwork) will be couriered at the convenience of your schedule. STEP 3: INVENTORYING & TAGGING All of your furniture and cartons will be clearly labelled according to your custom floor plans days before actual move day. We’ll adhere stickers/labels in each of your offices in the new spaces to assure the correct placing of all furniture and cartons upon move-in. STEP 4: PROTECTION AT EVERY STEP Ferguson Moving & Storage adheres to buildings protections, and with your building’s specifications, office floors and walls will be protected with wall coverings and floor runners for your move. STEP 5: PACKING AND PREPARATION Our crew of commercial movers will carefully wrap and pack the contents of your entire office, including files, blueprints, fax machines, copiers, computers, furniture and pictures. We will utilize library carts to maintain order and integrity. Our crew will then pre-load items onto dollies to ensure quick elevator use on moving day. STEP 6: THE ACTUAL MOVE DAY As prearranged, Ferguson Moving & Storage will supply you with a specialized crew and commercial move supervisor to begin loading items onto our trucks. Our staff are trained in our own in home training facility (the only one of its kind in Vancouver) to apply the most careful and efficient methods of transport to ensure your items arrive intact and on time to you new business location. STEP 7: UNPACKING AND SETUP Upon arriving, our crews will unwrap place and install all of your furniture to your complete satisfaction. |
