Appliance Deliveries
Our Appliances Delivery Process:

Ferguson Moving and Storage delivers a great number of Vancouver appliances per week. When your goods are ready to be delivered, Ferguson will contact you either by telephone or email to schedule a delivery time that best suites your needs. For your convince we guarantee a 1 hour delivery time frame. After we receive your delivery we will call you the day before arrival confirming your delivery. Please arrange a clear path for delivery, free of debris, toys, snow etc.
For deliveries to an apartment or high-rise please speak with your building representative to book elevator access. Pre-measure your doorways, entrances and hallways to ensure your new product will fit. Infrequently products may be a tight squeeze, we may ask you to approve the delivery person’s attempt, and emancipate them of all liability.
If you find any damages you must inform the Ferguson delivery team as soon as they unbox the item. Once the item is unboxed you will be asked to sign that you have inspected the delivered item and that is received in good condition. If there is any damage found to your item, we will repair or replace the damage item promptly.
Included is placement of your new appliance in the area of your home as requested, if accessible. We will also recycle your old appliance that is being replaced. Please be sure to disconnect and drain your old appliance before the arrival of our delivery team.
Delivery Charges:
Delivery charges are based on the amount of products being delivered, and the location of the delivery. Delivery fees start as low as $40.00 per hour. This includes the placement of the appliance in the area of your home as per your request.
We will also:*
- · Connect your freestanding appliance to existing services (excludes gas appliances/dishwasher lines)
- · Test product operation if it is at room temperature
- · Level it, if required by the manufacture
- · Install any manufacturer-supplied safety hardware, such as anti-tip brackets (to wood surfaces only)
Appliance Installation Process:
For an extra fee installation can be requested. This is an excellent resolution for people who don’t have the time or the tools to install their new built-in-appliance. This includes dishwashers, cook tops and wall ovens. We will disconnect your old appliances and install your new one according to local codes and regulations. We do not include the parts or labor required to modify existing services, flooring, cabinetry, or your new appliance.
Appliance Product Pick up:
Pickup from our warehouse in North Vancouver is available free of charge. When your item is ready for pick up we will call or email you. In order to pick up your items please bring a copy of your invoice, photo ID and the credit card used to place the order. PLEASE NOTE: If you fail to bring required identification you may not pick up your merchandise, no exceptions.
Items picked up will be in their original packaging. Any installation you may need to take place for these items is the responsibility of the customer.
Return Policy:
Our main goal is to make sure every customer is fully satisfied with the products and services that we offer. We ask that customers check the products they are ordering:
- Gas or Electric
- 110 Volts or 220 Volts
- Height, Width, Depth, will match the place where your installing the unit
- Height, Width, Depth, will allow unit to fit through the entrance door
We will not take back any unit(s) that were opened and/or taken out of the box. Please make sure you are ordering the correct item before placing your order. Of you need assistance in ordering a product or you need technical help please call our sales staff at 604-922-2212 or email us at info@fergusonmoving.com. There will be a 25% restocking fee on cancelled or unopened returned items, plus thee shipping cost to you and back to us. If you need to cancel an order please contact us at 604-922-2212. Please do not email cancellations. All special orders cannot be cancelled.
Damages:
We do our best to take all the precautions while packing your products to minimize damages. There are times that a unit may become damaged. It is extremely important to inspect the item once it has been delivered. If you noticed any dents or punctures on the package please make note of it on the packing slip and call customer service at 604-922-2212 right away. We will take every possible step in getting you out a new unit in a timely fashion. If the unit was accepted and signed for and there were concealed damages, we will do everything necessary to repair the unit, if possible, or send you a replacement and pick up the damaged unit. On occasion the unit might need minor repairs.
We will send a service representative to your home to try and repair the unit. It may take up to 5 business days for an appointment. If it is found the unit cannot be repaired we will send out a new unit in a timely fashion.
