Have you ever seen 16,000 rubber ducks dropped from a helicopter?!
Ferguson Moving and Storage is proud to be a GOLD sponsor of the 2011 Capilano Duck Splash, happening April, 10th over Ambleside Park in West Vancouver.
At approximately high noon, a helicopter will let loose its cargo sending 16,000 of these bathtub favourites into the waters below. They will then be retrieved by dogs from the Labrador Retriever Club, as anxious crowds gather in excitement to see if their ducks made the cut. If you happen to be the proud owner of one of the 13 selected, you will be awarded prizes varying from a diamond necklace to a luxury ten night cruise for two!
Ferguson Moving and Storage is happy to be providing the storage containers for our 16,000 yellow friends, as they wait in anticipation for their big day. We’re treating them as if they were any other piece of furniture in our everyday operations… which is to the highest industry standard in the surrounding area. After their big day, we will collect them up and provide them with a nice place to rest until the 2012 drop!
